How to choose your size

Choose each half of a set separately to get the proportions you want.

  1. Compare chest width and back length on tops with a piece that fits you well.
  2. On bottoms, check waist, rise and inseam.
  3. Check the specific model. You do not need the same hoodie and sweatpants size to build a set.

Product pages provide a named-cut chart or a labelled indicative chart. These are reference dimensions, not our own measurements of every item in stock.

How seasons and cuts differ

A newer season does not automatically mean a wider cut. The model, fabric and construction determine its proportions. The same size letter can fit differently between releases.

SS, FW and earlier releases

SS means spring/summer; FW or AW means autumn/winter. The year and drop help identify a release. The 1977 graphic alone does not identify its season.

From spring 2025

From spring 2025, Fear of God introduced a refreshed sizing system, new cuts and materials. Compare the specific model’s chart again when moving from an older piece.

Cut and proportions

Classic and 90s identify different model cuts; Relaxed describes a looser silhouette. They can coexist, rather than forming a year-by-year progression from narrow to wide.

Fear of God: story and styling

Essentials is the everyday line from Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God, recognised for muted colours and relaxed proportions. The 1977 graphic refers to his birth year, rather than a release season.
